Sunshine Days: Town Builder

For the last nine months I've been working on Sunshine Days: Town Builder as part of Netspeak Games.  The project is a casual farming and town building game on mobile in a similar market to Hayday and Township.  In this role I had the opportunity to become much more proficient in Figma for mock ups and asset creation, icon art and building original wireframes for features.  I was able to contribute to the style guide for the overall game and establish consistent UI conventions, as well as taking ownership of the UI art and UX of many game features including the leaderboards, daily tasks and social features.

Star Wars Hunters

For Star Wars Hunters on mobile and Switch I was predominantly providing mock ups and pre-vis for various screens and UI elements as part of our efforts to uplift the UI.  Some of the areas I provided art for as shown below are the player profile widget on the home screen, additional rewards added to the Arena Pass purchase screen, UI overhaul and uplift of the Arena Pass screen and complete pre-vis of the tier skip screens and score card screens.  I also did various improvements in Unreal Engine, like adding new sprites to the left hand buttons on the shop screen as well as general bug fixing and adding to sprite sheets in the game.

Doodle Jump Space Chase

Doodle Jump Space Chase is a 3D instalment of the popular original game Doodle Jump.  This was a project in association with Lima Sky as part of my role at Hugo Games.  This role involved creating user interface art, mock-ups, button graphics and animations using Unity UI tools and Adobe applications. Implementation and animation of game screens while maintaining the distinctive Doodle Jump style was the main focus.

Ninja Ranch

Puzzle game for iphone and ipad, based on Shikaku. For this project I made the Splash Screen, the blue china backdrops, Screen top illustrations, chapter and marketing illustrations and all animated animal sprites.

Battleship HD

Ipad Project for Hasbro.  My contribution to Battleship consists of illustrations for the various events in the game like victory and defeat, mounts for buttons and the plastic game board seen in game play screens, modelled and rendered in 3DS MAX.

Wordsearch

Wordsearch puzzle game on IoS.  I used stock imagery to create a variety of themes and background art to make this simple puzzle game visually appealing.  I also added graphic elements like the crossed out graphic on the word list, selected letters, the finger pointer and the loops around found words, which required close collaboration with code to make sure they align on the diagonally angled grid.

Headcast

Several projects completed for Headcast Labs including "Fry", a personal animated 3D avatar for Stephen Fry.  On this project I was responsible for modelling, texturing and animating a full 3D model of Stephen Fry to speak to his fans.  The model was also animated to give a speech at Douglas Adams' Virtual 60th Birthday at the Hammersmith Apollo.  A similar product followed for Olympic Diver Tom Daley.
