An art test for Supercell. The brief was to create spooky themed chain offer with a series of boxes which can be opened on certain days, an offer cover image and a HUD icon through which the offer can be accessed from the main game screen. The timer icon, lock icon, coin, star and key assets were provided by Supercell and were not created by me. Total time spent on this test was 20 hours.

Art Test for Love and Pies - Assets
A collection of assets created for a 2D game artist test for Love and Pies. The challenge was to create game map, grid and character art for a chosen theme which would be used for a special event in game. The chosen theme was a cat rescue charity, which is reflected across all the assets. Time spent on this result was 35 hours.

Art Test for Awesome Golf
An art test completed for Awesome Golf, the task being to re-design the main menu screen with additional features, such as slots to invite four players to a game, a list of online players and notifications of competitions, new features and bug fixes. I was looking at Super Mario Strikers as reference and decided to incorporate some graphics treatment to stock images to appeal to an older demographic of golf players. Time spent on this result was 20 hours.

Art Test for Tripledot
The task for this art test was to create a main game screen and a rewards screen for a word finding game based on a provided wireframe. Of the provided themes I chose jungle adventure for this task. I have had some helpful feedback on this test which has motivated me to try doing another iteration which would improve visual heirarchy, use a more relevant style and remove distracting elements such as the beetles. I will post the result here when it's ready. Time spent on this result was 20 hours.

Art Test for Tripledot - Improved
I decided to respond to the feedback from my last Tripledot art test as an opportunity to improve the outcome and showcase my adaptability. One main area of improvement was the readability and visual hierarchy of information on the screen. By paying closer attention to the black and white values of the elements on screen the UI now stands out a lot better on the background art. I also paid closer attention to the style of Tripletile and used the style of the foliage on the map navigation screen to inform the style of the background art.

Art Test for a Rick and Morty IP Game
For this art test I created a shop screen based on the layout of Clash of Clans and AFK Arena shop screens, using art in the style of the animated TV series Rick and Morty. I tried to incorporate recognisable characters and scenes from the show to enthuse fans of the series. Time spent on this result was 20 hours.
